How many nails come in a set?
Only ten nails come in a set, so please make sure to check your nail measurements before ordering so you get a perfect fit!
How long do the nails stay on?
This depends on your application! It can range from a few days to a few weeks.
1-2 days: From your cuticle to the tip of your nail, apply a thin strip of glue. For unexpected situations, carry glue with you.
5-7 days: Put a small amount of glue on the back of the press-on nails and a pea-sized dot on each natural nail (adjust for the pinkie). Spread it out evenly; avoid getting too near to the skin because pressure will cause the glue to disperse.
How do you apply the nails?
- Clean & wash your hands
- Push back your cuticles with cuticle pusher, make sure not to touch your natural nails after prep to avoid oil transfer
- Buff the serface of your nails with the buffer, then wipe off with alchol wipe
- File press ons to fit your exact cuticle shape
- Apply glue / adhesive tabs to your natural nails and place it just under cuticles
- Glue or stick the press ons to your nails, hold for 30 seconds
- Avoid water if possible for the next 2 hours
Do's and Don'ts
DO:
- Avoid water for 1-2 hpurs after application
- Wear gloves when dish washing
- Put them back on the card so you don't lose any
DON'T:
- Use nails to open cans and open packaging
- Hot baths (weakens the glue)
- Trim/cut/or excessively file the press on, this will break the top coat barrier and cause chipping, and impact the longevity of the nails
- Avoid cuticle oil right after application as this will make the glue slippery.
We can not be responsible for replacments if you damage your own nails.
Are the nails reusable?
Yes! You should be able to get multiple uses out of them if they are still in good condition after you've removed them.
To remove them: soak your hands in warm water with a bit of soap for 10-20 minutes. Your nails will begin to loosen up and you can proceed to remove them.
To reuse: buff the back of the press-on nail gently to remove any remaining adhesive and then reapply as usual.
What comes in the package?
10 nails in the design of your ordered set and an application kit that includes a mini nail buffer, mini nail file,a cuticle pusher, nail glue, 2 alcohol pads, 24 sticky adhesive tabs, and an instruction manual!
How do I figure out my nail size?
Please look at the sizing page. There you will find instructions on how to size.
What do I do if none of the standard nail sizes fit my nails?
If none of the standard sizes fit your nails (XS, S, M, L, XL), then select "Custom" when selecting the size of your set and leave your measurements or individual nail sizes at checkout in the note box: Thumb, Index, Middle, Ring, Pinky -- Example: 16mm, 14.5 mm, 13mm, 10.5mm, 9.5mm, OR 0, 2, 3, 6, 7.
Do you offer refunds, returns or accept exchanges?
Due to sanitary reasons, all sales are final. So, please make sure to double-check your nail measurements to ensure a perfect fit before ordering!
Items that are deemed defective or damaged must be reported through email within two weeks of delivery. I will do my best to resolve the issue!
How long does it take to process and ship my order?
Please allow me a full 1-4 weeks to make and ship your order. Once the item ships, it should arrive 2-4 days after shipping in the UK!
International shipping to all countries available, however Artistic Touch Nails is NOT responsible for any custom fees that may be applied.
